Nedim Plasko in NYC
At this week’s Amazon media event in New York City, I interviewed Nedim Plasko, who described his job as being responsible for the tech stack in Alexa.
That means he has been intimately involved with the development of Alexa+, the AI-turbocharged version of what I now think of as Classic Alexa, the one announced by Amazon on November 6, 2014.
I was very impressed with Alexa+. Before I left NYC yesterday, I uploaded a 50-minute episode of The Kindle Chronicles with my take on what’s coming next.
Amazon will begin rolling out Alexa+ by the end of March. It will cost $19.99 a month if you are not a Prime member and will be free if you do have Prime.
In my conversation with Nedim, I enjoyed his pride and confidence in the Alexa team’s creation.
I can’t wait to try it!
